Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Cabine (“the App”), published by Aeris Nova SARL, handles your information, and what happens when you sign up for the Cabine beta on this website.

Summary

Cabine sends no data to us. Your library, your files and your settings stay on your Mac. The App connects to online services only when you ask it to look up tags or cover art.

Data Storage

Your library database, settings, snapshots and log file are stored on your Mac. The App’s local server answers only to your own Mac (127.0.0.1). There is no account, no cloud sync and no remote storage.

Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information. It does not use analytics, telemetry, tracking or advertising frameworks.

Online Lookups

When you ask the App to fill in missing tags or find cover art, it sends the artist, title, album, label, year and ISRC of the tracks you chose to these services:

These lookups run only when you start them. Each service handles the request under its own privacy policy. Nothing from these lookups is sent to us.

Crash Reporting and Bug Reports

The App does not include any crash reporting SDK. If the App stops with an error, it writes to its local log file and sends nothing.

Help → Create Bug Report builds a report on your Mac. It leaves out track paths, titles and log text. You decide whether to send it to us, and how.

Beta Signup

The signup form on the Cabine page asks for your email address. With it, we keep the language of the page you signed up from, so we write to you in that language.

We use your email address only to write to you about Cabine: to tell you when you can get it, and about the beta. We do not share it or sell it. The list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website.

We keep your email address until you ask us to delete it, or until we stop the list. To have it deleted, write to info@aerisnova.com.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect any data from any user, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
