Rudra
Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Rudra app (“the App”), published by Aeris Nova SARL (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App, you accept these Terms.
Buying Rudra Pro
Rudra Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. You buy it from Apple through the App Store, or from Google through Google Play. The store is the seller: it shows you the price before you buy, takes the payment, confirms the purchase, and handles renewals, cancellations, refunds and your right of withdrawal, under its own terms. You manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account.
Class Licenses
Schools and teachers can buy class licenses from us directly. A class license is a license key that unlocks Rudra Pro until the date written in the key. We sell class licenses ourselves, not through a store. The price, the number of students, the period, cancellation and refunds are agreed in writing with each school before the sale, and that agreement applies in addition to these Terms. If you buy a class license as a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales. License keys work as soon as you receive them and cannot be taken back, so we send them during those 14 days only if you ask us in writing to send them right away and confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal, as French law allows for digital content. We confirm this in writing with the keys. If you prefer to keep the right, we send the keys when the 14 days have passed. Students who use a class license key use the App under these Terms.
Your License
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your devices: for your own practice, or for teaching if you have a class license. The license lasts as long as your subscription or your license key.
We can end your license only if you seriously break these Terms, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why first. Ending your license does not take away your rights under consumer law.
What You May Not Do
You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its content, except where the law allows it.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, audio samples, rhythm patterns, and all associated content, belongs to Aeris Nova SARL and is protected by French and international intellectual property law.
Your Data
The App stores your data on your device, and we do not receive it. If you delete the App or lose your device, we cannot restore your data, so keep backups of your device. See the Privacy Policy.
Legal Guarantee of Conformity
If you are a consumer, the App is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content: in France, articles L224-25-12 and following of the Code de la consommation, and in other EU countries, the equivalent law of your country. If the App does not work as described, write to us, and we will help. The App must be brought into conformity under the conditions and within the time limits set by law. Where the law allows it, you can be entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract and get a refund. For purchases in the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by the store under its terms and the law, and we will point you to its process. For class licenses, refunds are handled by us.
Updates
We provide the updates needed to keep the App working as described, for as long as your subscription or license key runs. Other updates can add, change or remove features. If a change materially and negatively affects your use of the App during a period you have paid for, you keep the rights consumer law gives you, including the right to end the contract.
Liability
We are responsible for damage that we cause by not meeting these Terms or the law, as the law provides. We are not responsible for damage that could not be foreseen, or that does not come from us, such as problems with your device, other apps, or your internet connection. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or bodily injury, for damage we cause on purpose or by gross negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Changes to These Terms
We may make reasonable changes to these Terms where necessary to follow changes to the App, our services, or the law. If a change affects your rights, we tell you in the App or by another reasonable means at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not accept the change, you can end the contract free of charge before the change applies, as consumer law provides.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute before the courts of that country. In other cases, the courts of Fort-de-France, Martinique, have jurisdiction.
If you have a problem, write to us first. Most problems can be solved that way.
